The race for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft is entering the homestretch, and California’s Bay Area is the host.

With the final quarter of the 2018 regular season drawing near, the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders are neck-and-neck, both currently owning a 2-10 record following Week 13 losses Sunday.

The 49ers appear more likely to win the race, considering they don’t face a single team with a losing record down the stretch. While both teams still have a game remaining against the 6-6 Denver Broncos, the 49ers will close out their regular season against the Seattle Seahawks (7-5), Chicago Bears (8-4) and Los Angeles Rams (11-1). Oakland’s other three games pit them against the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-3-1), Cincinnati Bengals (5-7) and Kansas City Chiefs (10-2).

The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are close behind at 3-9, followed by five teams with 4-8 records.
